航海英语学习中学生学习动机，学习策略和学习成绩的调查和分析

摘要

早在上个世纪七十年代，国内外研究者和专家们就对学习成绩和个体差异之间的关系作了广泛深入的研究。学习动机和学习策略被认为是影响语言学习成绩的重要因素之一，这方面的研究硕果累累。但是，作为专门用途英语，航海英语学习动机和学习策略方面的研究却鲜有涉及，尤其是在高职航海院校领域。在这一背景下，探索学生航海英语的学习动机，帮助学生选择适当的学习策略无疑对深化教育改革，提高海员素质有着重要的意义。
　　本研究的主要问题是:
　　(1)学生的内部动机，外部动机和学习成绩之间有什么关系？
　　(2)航海英语学习动机和学习策略之间有什么关系？
　　(3)航海英语学习策略和学习成绩之间有什么关系？
　　笔者选择了笔者所在学校航海技术专业的11届两个平行班学生作为实验班和对照班，通过前后测，问卷调查，课堂观察，访谈等方法收集数据，开展了一学年的实证研究。
　　研究发现:学生在学习航海英语过程中，外部动机大于内部动机，内部动机与学习成绩的相关性更大，外部动机在某些情况下可以转化为内部动机;学习动机和学习策略存在正相关，激发学生的学习动机会使他们使用更多适当的学习策略，学习策略的使用会提高学生学习航海英语的动机;学习策略的使用有助于学生学习成绩的提高，航海英语学习中，社会/情感策略发挥的作用更大。
　　本研究表明:教师要帮助学生培养航海英语的学习兴趣，树立正确的学习态度;要学习并采用各种有效的教学方法以激发学生的内部动机;要指导学生进行航海英语学习的规划管理。
