莫言作品及其英译本中语法衔接手段对比研究

摘要

2012年，莫言获得诺贝尔文学奖，这是中国作家第一次赢得了此项殊荣。而莫言作品的译者葛浩文功不可没。
　　本研究以莫言四本中文小说和葛浩文的英译本为语料建立汉英两个语料库，以韩礼德的衔接理论为理论基础，分析了莫言小说中英文版本衔接手段的不同。本文拟探讨以下三个研究问题是:莫言中文作品与其英译本中衔接手段的使用频率是否相同？(2)在莫言中文作品与英译本中衔接词的选择是否相同？(3)如果以上存在任何不同，那么造成这个不同的原因是什么？
　　本文以衔接理论为基础，从照应和连接词这两种衔接手段分别对莫言小说中英文版本加以讨论。研究方法一是用Antconc软件和SPSS软件来量化比较两个语料库的各衔接手段，二是寻找导致使用衔接词不同的原因的定性研究，在这过程中进行了举例分析。研究表明莫言小说英译本衔接手段的使用频率远远高于其中文版本，且在衔接词的选择上也存在不同。导致衔接词显化的原因主要包括语言因素，译者因素，翻译全球化因素，文本因素和文化因素。其中语言因素是主要原因。
