高职高专英语听力学习策略研究

摘要

在日常交际和二语习得中听力理解起着重要作用。2007年10月颁布的《大学英语课程教学要求》强调了在当前形势下培养大学生获得学习策略的指导,提高其自主学习能力的重要性。国内的听力学习策略研究大多以本科院校学生为受试对象,较少涉及到高职高专学生,所以本研究将探讨高职高专学生英语听力学习策略的使用情况。
　　 本研究采用问卷和访谈相结合的研究方法来调查高职高专英语专业学生听力学习策略总体的使用情况以及善学者与不善学者在策略使用上的差别。受试为福州外语外贸职业技术学院2008级英语专业的三个班共100名学生。本研究提出的问题是高职高专学生经常使用听力学习策略吗?高职高专学生最常使用的听力学习策略是什么?善学者与不善学者在听力学习策略的使用上有何差异?通过对这些问题的研究期望对高职高专的听力教学和策略培训提出一些建设性的意见。本文主要由以下五个章节构成:
　　 第一章简介部分分析了当前高职高专院校听力教学的现状以及本研究的意义。
　　 第二章围绕听力理解的理论基础展开。本章从听力理解的相关研究理论出发,对听力理解的定义、本质、信息处理过程、重要性和影响因素进行阐述。其次是与本研究相关的文献综述。介绍了学习策略的定义和分类,尤其是听力学习策略,同时也对国内外听力学习策略的研究进行阐述。
　　 第三章主要介绍本次研究的目的、方法、受试者、工具和过程。
　　 第四章对数据进行分析和讨论,是本文的核心部分。本次研究采用定量研究的方法,对高职高专英语专业的学生听力学习策略运用情况进行调查。采用SPSS11.5软件对数据的平均数、标准差、方差和Cronbach Alpha系数进行分析,得出以下结论:1)高职高专学生使用听力学习策略的频率较低,但是大部分学习者都无意识地使用了一些学习策略。在所使用的听力学习策略中,按使用频率从高到低依次为认知策略、元认知策略和社交情感策略。2)善学者与不善学者在策略使用上有显著差异。善学者更经常使用元认知策略,而不善学者几乎从来都不使用任何策略,特别是元认知策略。
　　 第五章为本论文的总结部分。本次调查的主要发现、调查本身的局限性、对听力教学的启示以及对未来研究的建议都得到了阐述。在总结本次研究结论的同时,探讨了英语听力学习策略培训的目标、类型和方法。
