摘要

指示语是人类语言的普遍现象之一,是语用学的重要研究对象。很多研究者主要对英语和其他语言的指示词语进行过对比研究,然而对蒙语的指示词的研究少之又少。英语和蒙语中最常见、最复杂的指示词语是this/that和()/()(这/那)。本篇论文利用描述的写法,对英语和蒙语近指词“()/this”和远指词“()/that”作了初步的对比研究。
   本文在前人对指示词研究的基础上,运用指示理论和指示照应理论,详细探讨“()/this”和“()/that”指代词在情景语境中的手势和非手势指示、上下文语境中回指和预指等现象的规律或倾向性规律。此项研究采用语料取自在线当代美国英语语料库COCA和现代蒙语语料库MMLC。在分析对比的基础上最终考察蒙英指示词语用方面的异同。
   通过全面分析本文发现了两种语言指示用法的相同点和不同点。得出的结论如下:
   第一,两种语言指示代词this/that和()/()具有相反的分布特点。
   第二,两种语言的指示代词this/that和()/()在外指功能上基本相同,都具有手势和非手势用法。
   第三,两种语言指示代词this/that和()/()在内指功能上有很多的区别。
