基于语料库对海事英语中逻辑结果程式语语义韵研究

摘要

语义韵是节点词和其搭配词在语用层面上所表现出来的态度意义，将意义与使用连接起来。海事英语在航运业务中扮演不可或缺的重要角色，作为科技类英语，其语篇中逻辑结果关系表达不可忽视。本文主要从大连海事大学建立的海事英语语料库中7个逻辑结果程式语(分别是“so that”，“due to”，“[result]from”,“because of”,“[result]in”,“caused by”,“[lead]to”)出发，以辛克莱语料库语言学的意义移变单位理论为框架，通过运用语料库提取7个逻辑结果程式语的检索行，对7个逻辑结果程式语所携带的语义韵进行归纳，总结出每个逻辑结果程式语的意义移变单位以及变体。
　　论文主要研究7个逻辑结果程式语在海事英语文本中语义韵特征以及各自的意义移变单位，并探究意义移变单位和携带语义韵的关系。
　　本文对海事语料库中7个逻辑结果程式语的意义移变单位和语义关系进行了定性和定量分析。通过观察逻辑结果程式语的搭配词、类连接模式和语义趋向，得以归纳总结逻辑结果程式语的意义移变单位和变体。研究结果发现，海事语料库中7个逻辑结果程式语均携带消极以及中性语义韵，其中“caused by”，“[lead]to”，主要携带消极语义韵，而“so that”，“due to”，“[result]from”，“[result]in”主要携带中性语义韵，“because of”携带杂糅性语义韵;随着语义韵的变化，7个逻辑结果程式语的意义移变单位也随之变化，共选形式也随之变化，相反，共选形式的变化也会导致意义移变单位的变化。
　　本研究借助语义韵研究的新模式，即意义移变单位，强调了共选型式和语义韵对意义改变所起的核心作用，共选型式是意义的载体，文本意义的变化便是共选型式的变化，语义韵是其中决定性的制约因素。同时，本文研究对海事文本中逻辑结果程式语语义韵的学习和理解也提供了新视角和启发。
