基于“SPONGE”的体验式教学法对A PE Lesson的教学设计

摘要

本文是基于“SPONGE”的体验式教学法，对小学牛津版教材五年级下学期第六单元课文“APE Lesson”进行的教学设计。其理论基础为系统论，建构主义学习理论，儿童认知发展理论和体验式教学法。“SPONGE”是情境、感知、观察、注意、掌握和运用的首字母缩略词，这些构成了本教学设计的六个过程，而这六个过程正是体验式教学法的核心体现。本教学设计的意义在于:一是提高学生学习英语的兴趣，二是促进学生对本课所学指令语言的掌握，三是提高教学设计的高效性和趣味性，以便对今后的小学英语教学设计提供有力的参考价值。 本教学设计主要由三部分组成:前期分析、教学过程设计和教学反思。 前期分析主要是针对学习者、教学内容以及教学目标这三个方面。学习者是一所普通小学五年级的学生。他们活泼好动，渴望尝试新鲜事物，有着丰富的想象力，既好奇又好强，表现欲强。就教学内容而言，教师之所以选择“A PE Lesson”进行教学设计，是因为这篇课文符合体验式教学法的要求，以便学生掌握整个课文。教学目标涉及语言知识、语言技能、学习策略、情感因素四个方面。在语言知识方面，本教学设计重在让学生掌握新单词和新句型;在语言技能方面，本教学设计重点在听和说，即:要求学生根据所听指令作出相应的动作，并且能够发布指令;在学习策略方面，本教学设计旨在让学生积极参与，在完成学习任务的同时能够积极的与他人合作;情感因素体现在:激发学生英语的学生兴趣，让学生能积极参与到课堂中来，达到师生互动的和谐，让学生在各种活动中体验英语学习的乐趣。 整个教学设计分为六步。第一步:情境创设，教师通过播放海绵宝宝动画，让学生初步体验这节课需要讲的内容;第二步:通过听歌曲来让学生感知所学知识，一首关于身体各部位的歌曲，既让学生巩固了之前所学单词，也能让学生学习本课新单词;第三步:观察动作，接收指令，通过把新单词和新句型结合，让学生观察老师所做的动作，然后进行模仿，不仅可以让学生理解新句型的意思，还能对其灵活运用;第四步:聚焦对话，学生通过看动画来注意本课的对话，学会用英文发布指令;第五步:掌握本课的重点:学会接收和发出指令，通过表演对话的方式达来掌握本课所学的新知识;第六步:通过制定锻炼计划来亲身体验本节课的重点。这六步教学是教学设计的主要组成部分，其目的是使教学设计的有效性、高效性、吸引力达到最优化。 教学反思涉及三个方面:一是对教学目标的反思，二是对教学过程的反思，三是在反思的基础上，对原先的教学设计进行修改。就教学目标而言，总体上实现了所制定的目标，具体表现在三个方面:在语言知识方面，学生能够基本掌握关于身体部位的词汇以及接收和发布指令用语的表达;在语言技能方面，学生能根据指令做出相应的动作，并能根据实际发布指令，学生能正确地理解、掌握对话内容，并能朗读、初步表演对话;在学习策略方面，学生学会了积极参与教学活动，在完成学习任务的同时能够积极的与他人合作;在情感目标方面，学生对英语学习的兴趣和自信心有所增强，在设置的英语教学活动中，学生的参与度也提高了;就教学过程而言，整个教学设计大体上是成功的，但也存在一些问题，如:教学设计中体验活动较多，学生积极性很高，但是课堂秩序难以控制;部分学生性格较内向，参与度不够;学生在自由朗读和生生分角色朗读期间自主学习的效率不高。 针对上述情况，作者进行了以下三方面的修改:在学生进行各种体验式活动的时候，教师制定更多的规则来控制课堂纪律;让性格内向的学生也能参与到活动中来，达到每个学生都能积极参与各种体验活动的目的;变换阅读形式，提高学生自主学习的效率。
