商务口译中的译员素质——维多利亚州企业家江苏驻点项目报告

摘要

随着全球化的进一步发展，各国间的联系愈发密切，各国经济交往频繁，越来越多的国外企业家来到中国参与各种投资、融资等贸易活动。维多利亚州企业家江苏驻点项目正是这样的商业贸易项目。
　　本项目分为前期准备、项目进程、项目反馈三阶段，参与人员包括12位企业家和2位议员。江苏省工商联合会作为项目促进者，共分派14名翻译人员，分别负责企业家翻译活动。笔者主要负责其中一位议员的日程活动与翻译，帮助双方进行交流和谈判，达成协议。然而，在翻译过程中笔者也遇到了许多问题，如谈判涉及领域广而感到言外知识欠缺;跨文化意识不够而导致翻译理解传达出现偏差;短时记忆不准确而导致翻译出现错误等。因此，笔者以维多利亚州企业家江苏驻点项目为依托，从言外知识、跨文化意识和短期记忆三个方面，探讨译员素质在商务口译中的意义和作用，呼吁陪同口译员高度重视译员自身素质，切实提高口译水平和服务质量，实现全方面均衡发展。
