学术论文摘要的问题——解决模式分析

摘要

问题解决模式已被很多研究者探索，温特(Winter，1976)从小句关系角度进行研究，霍伊(Hoey，1983)探索了问题-解决模式的总体结构，莫卡斯(McCarthy，1991)从词汇角度入手，提出了问题-解决模式的一些词汇标志。但目前还没有研究者对某一个特定的文体所体现的问题-解决模式进行过研究。学术论文摘要本身构成一种体裁但却是经常被忽略的研究领域。二语学习者在撰写论文摘要时常常面临很多困难。本文从两个角度对学术论文摘要所体现的问题-解决模式进行分析---宏观角度和微观角度。
　　问题-解决模式首先由温特(1976)提出，霍伊(1983)之后对该模式进行了细化并将这个模式应用于各种篇章类型。问题-解决模式有四个组成部分:情况(Situation），问题(Problem)，反应(Response)和评价(Evaluation)。温特设计了下面这个故事模式来诠释问题-解决模式:
　　我在站哨兵岗(———)情境
　　我看见敌人接近(———)问题
　　我开火了(————)反应
　　我击退了进攻(———)结果\评价
　　霍伊指出，该模式是最小篇章模式中最普遍的，因此它可以用来阐释很多种篇章类型。通过观察，多数的学术论文摘要也遵循这个模式。本文的目的是探究学术论文摘要如何体现该模式，并在此基础上找出摘要所体现的问题-解决模式与前人研究的问题-解决模式有何不同。
　　该研究收集了50篇语言学杂志上的学术论文摘要进行分析。从宏观角度对学术摘要所体现的问题解决模式的整体结构进行了考察，来说明学术论文摘要作为一种体裁是如果体现问题解决模式的;从微观角度，本文对问题解决模式中的每个成分都分别从时态和语态方面进行了分析，同时还对一些成分的组合和聚合关系作了总结。
　　研究结果显示，从问题-解决模式角度来看，学术论文摘要体现出独特的特点，研究结果也使得对问题-解决模式的研究更加深入。
　　研究结果从功能角度对学术论文摘要是如何构成的提供一些启示，并对摘要的阅读和理解提供了一些可行的方法。同时研究结果还从另一角度对词汇教学有一定启示。
