辜正坤英诗汉译词曲体研究

摘要

辜正坤教授在其《多元互补翻译标准与西诗汉译词曲体问题》一文中提出了采用词曲体裁翻译西方的中世纪和17、18世纪的短小、精悍、典雅的诗歌,用词曲体翻译了一些英语和法语诗歌,对《莎士比亚十四行诗》中的几首进行了词曲体译诗的实验。他所翻译的作品典雅精炼,充满了古典美和民族特色,因而受到业内人士的推崇。
　　 辜教授这里提出的词曲体裁不是传统意义上严格的词曲体裁,而是借用传统词和曲中的一些特色词汇和句式的一种诗歌形式。这一体裁在节奏、音律、用词、句式、意境方面都有着独特的特点,使用这一体裁翻译出来的诗歌具有音乐美,形式美和意境美。这种体裁之所以出现,受到一系列因素的影响,包括传统文化和文学,多元化的英语体裁,读者和审美标准理论。这种体裁是现代文学百花齐放的现象之一,也体现了多元化翻译标准。同时,词曲体译诗也可以从德里达的解构主义理论的意义延异播撒理论获得有力的解释。本文以辜正坤倡议的词曲体译诗和多元翻译标准为基础,进一步研究这种体裁的定义,产生因为,特点,理论解释,适用范围及前景。
　　 本文采取对比分析和文献研究的办法,通过比较各种文献,并把不同体裁的英语诗歌译本与词曲体的译本进行对比,找出词曲体译本的特点。本文还采用了问卷调查的方法,调查了读者对词曲体汉译的西诗的接受程度。
　　 研究结果表明:词曲体裁在音美,形美,意美方面具有一定的优势。它可以充分利用传统文学体裁中的优秀元素,丰富现代翻译作品的语言和形式,但也具有一定的局限性,使用的范围有限。
