For an analog differentiation of pulsed high frequency (HF) signals with a low pulse frequency and a pulse-pause ratio smaller than the higher pulse frequency of another signal leads one of the signals along two paths only for positive and negative flanks. From one path, only the positive flanks are filtered by a deep pass filter with a selected cut-off frequency so that the rising frequency of the signal being analyzed is allowed through. From the other path, the negative flanks/whole signal is filtered with a cut-off frequency through a deep pass filter with signals of a half-wave or signal pause allowed through. A signal passed through the second deep pass zeroes the positive flank signal path.
