行断意连：卡明斯诗歌语篇连贯的认知研究

摘要

作为现代主义先锋派画家与诗人，爱德华·艾斯特林·卡明斯(1894-1962)以其独特的建行形式和诗歌技巧闻名于世。他很多诗歌都大量使用了独特的句法结构，其在诗歌语言方面的大胆实验成为了语言学研究热点之一。语言学家们尝试从不同视角分析卡明斯的诗歌。有的探讨其诗歌的偏离现象及其文体特征;有的关注其画诗的语言特性。但是，从认知语言学角度对其诗歌进行的研究还比较少。本文拟从认知语言学角度入手，运用概念隐喻理论来研究概念隐喻是如何构建与实现卡明斯诗歌语篇连贯的，以指出其诗歌偏离的建行不会影响语篇的连贯意义的传达。
　　在莱克夫等人提出的概念隐喻框架内，本文结合语篇分析的连贯理论从语义和语用—认知层面探讨卡明斯诗歌的语篇连贯问题。语篇连贯是一个多层次的概念。论文首先分析了概念隐喻如何通过衔接手段和主题发展构建卡明斯诗歌在语义层面的语篇连贯;然后通过引入认知语境来探讨概念隐喻如何在语用-认知层面实现卡明斯诗歌的语篇连贯。通过对其作品进行语篇分析，本文得出结论:概念隐喻以其跨域映射的工作机制将语篇的信息纳入其统辖范围内，构建了连贯的语篇。概念隐喻的连贯性和系统性使卡明斯诗歌语篇在语义和语用-认知两个层次上具有连贯性。语篇连贯不仅是语义层面通过概念隐喻的隐喻表达式和语篇主题实现的语篇衔接的产物，更是动态认知语境中参与者交际的产物。从而进一步得出，卡明斯诗歌表面的断裂并不会影响语篇的连贯。
