英文电影与跨文化交际能力培养的探索性研究

摘要

本文主要研究以英文电影作为教学内容，以培养英语学习者的跨文化交际能力作为目的的教学实践。随着经济全球化的发展，世界各国正融合成一个联系日益紧密的整体，相互间的交流往来日益频繁，跨文化交际现象越来越突出，英语教学也在中国得到了长足的发展。然而，以培养和提高听说读写技能为目标的传统英语教学忽视了文化的输入，在交际过程中因为文化差异而产生很多问题，导致有效的适宜的跨文化交际并没有实现。因此，为了实现成功的跨文化交际，提高英语学习者的跨文化交际能力应该作为目前英语教学的目标。许多学者十分关注如何通过英语教学提高跨文化交际能力，然而因为缺乏目的语的环境，跨文化交际能力的培养没有很大进展。
　　电影作为一个视听结合的艺术形式，蕴含多种多样的文化信息，并且能够给语言学习者创造一个真实的语言环境，因此许多教师运用电影教学来提高英语学习者的听说能力。运用电影来提高跨文化交际能力在英语教学中比较少见，而且其通常局限于理论的探讨或者是可行性的分析。
　　本文首先回顾跨文化交际能力的定义和构成理论，总结出四类在跨文交际中需要具备的知识、能力和技巧。接着，本文回顾电影运用于英语教学中的理论基础以及电影的特点，总结出其优缺点，并提出挑选电影作为教学内容的四项标准。最后，在交际教学法的指导下，根据对跨文化能力构成成分的总结和四项挑选电影的标准，本文提出了通过英文电影欣赏培养跨文化交际能力的具体教学方案，以便对中国的英语教学有所启示和贡献。
