认知视域下的英汉混成词对比研究

摘要

混成词是根据社会发展而产生的新词，其目的是填补语言和概念上的空白。这种词在英语和汉语中都存在相当数量并且仍在不断扩大中。认知语言学具有强大的解释力，并且因为语言是人类思维的产物，对英汉两种语言的拼缀词进行认知视域的对比有利于揭示两种语言的共性和差异。
　　本文首先从英汉混成词基本研究和认知研究方面对国内外相关文献进行陈述和分析，重新定义了英语混成词并结合英语混成词的定义和汉语本身的特点为汉语混成词下定义。然后，阐述了概念隐喻、概念转喻和概念整合理论这三个认知语言学的理论定义和运行机制，这些理论作为本文的理论框架。之后，本文逐一分析了理论与混成词的生成、基本义建构和生成后的语义拓展的关系。此后本文对英汉混成词进行语义角度的分类，并从分类、理据性、语义拓展能力三方面对英汉混成词进行对比。本文使用描写与解释相结合，定性分析与定量分析相结合的方法，以定性分析为主，同时分别选取了21世纪以来的英汉语混成词进行定量分析。通过对比发现，尽管各种类型混成词的比例有所不同，但是英汉语混成词可以使用相同方式分类。在意义方面，二者均受到概念隐喻、概念转喻和概念整合理论的影响，显示出人类认知的共性，但是它们的认知理据性程度和语义拓展能力有所不同。本文的结论是两种语言在认知方面有共性，但是汉语混成词在理据性和语义拓展能力方面均超过英语混成词。本文对英汉语中新产生的混成词进行了有意义的对比，有助于发现英汉语言中的更多共性和差异。
