摘要

Modern world is characterized by increasing processes of globalization and internationalization in the spheres of economy,politics,science and culture.The population is becoming more diverse.Trough this global process,modernization of education is conducted as well.The priority of a new system is the education of younger generation in the conditions of respect,understanding and tolerance to people with cultural diversity.Multicultural education is a relatively new area of pedagogical theory and practices of educational institutions in many countries.
  In recent years in the pedagogical science and practice many countries,particularly Russia focus on the problem of teacher's professional development in a multicultural educational space.Scientific basis of solving the problem about matching the professionalism of the teacher and new socio-cultural conditions of Russian education can become the concept of development teacher's professional-psychological characteristics in a multicultural educational space,which includes a scientific interpretation of the phenomena of
