《如果我足够优秀，为什么却单身依旧？》翻译实践报告

摘要

本文是一篇英译汉翻译实践报告，翻译原文选自美国著名作家Susan Page的作品If I'm Sb Wonderful,Why Am I Still Single?(PartⅠ)该文本为情感类指导书籍，在信息技术高速发展的今天，为人们提供了情感指导，改善情感发展的现状，主要目标读者是单身人士。
　　根据纽马克对文本功能的分类，源文本属于呼唤型文本，作者在向读者传达信息时，更注重以读者和效果为导向，旨在感染或说服读者并使其采取某种行动。因此译者以纽马克的文本类型为理论基础，即根据不同文本类型选择相应的翻译方法。在翻译源文本时，译者主要针对文本的呼唤型功能，借助纽马克的交际翻译方法进行翻译实践。同时从词语和句法两方面对翻译实践过程进行详细分析，采用了不同的翻译策略，包括增译，减译，词性转换，拆分法和倒置法等。通过翻译，译者对本书的内容有了较为系统的了解，也提高了自身的翻译能力。
　　本次翻译实践既是对译者翻译能力的考查，使其深切地感受到翻译并非易事，认识到自身母语表达能力的不足，同时对文本类型理论有了更深的认识，对于今后的翻译实践具有一定的指导作用。
