约瑟夫·康拉德作品在中国的译介研究

摘要

约瑟夫·康拉德(JosephConrad，1957-1924)是英国现代小说先驱之一，享有国际盛名。1924年，我国学者诵虞撰文《新近去世的海洋文学家—康拉特》介绍康拉德，拉开了康拉德及其作品在中国传播的序幕。康拉德作品在中国的译介和研究经历了八十余年，由于受到社会文化等方面的影响，译介过程蜿蜒曲折。然而，其作品为什么能够在我国不同历史时期得以翻译和研究？译介过程中呈现出什么样的特征？译介对我国产生什么积极影响？本文拟对康拉德在中国的译介、传播和研究等方面进行梳理、探讨，并运用改写理论进行文化层面的剖析。
　　本文探索性地将康拉德作品在中国的译介和研究分为三个阶段:第一阶段(1924-1948)、第二阶段(1949-1977)与第三阶段(1978-2012)，进而对三个阶段的译者、译本、出版社、康拉德评论和研究等进行梳理和分析，为读者展现一个全面的译介研究情况。笔者采用勒菲弗尔的改写论为理论框架，考察外部因素（意识形态、诗学、赞助者）在各个时期对作品的译介和研究产生的影响，并探讨总结了各个阶段的特征以及康拉德译介研究的价值。研究发现，意识形态、诗学和赞助者不同程度地操控康拉德作品在中国的译介，其中主流的社会意识形态起着至关重要的作用。康拉德作品的译介在三个阶段呈现出不同的特征，从萌芽期到新时期的繁荣发展，说明国内对康拉德的译介和研究已经逐渐成熟。
　　笔者希望通过梳理康拉德在我国的译介和研究，既能丰富和完善对康拉德的研究，又可以发掘出康拉德译介研究所存在的问题，为康拉德的研究提供新视角。
