英语专业与非英语专业研究生英语演讲焦虑对比研究

摘要

欧美国家的大学大多把演讲课作为全校学生的必修课。2006年，我国有近40所院校开设这门课程，至2013年，开设这门课程的院校已经多达200所左右。有鉴于此，论文以相关理论和研究成果为理论依据，以参加“外研社杯”英语演讲比赛的研究生为研究对象，对其演讲焦虑展开调查。
　　本研究以参加广西师范大学“外研社杯”英语演讲比赛的44位英语专业和非英语专业研究生为研究对象，借助问卷和访谈等工具，对参赛者英语演讲焦虑进行了调查，旨在探究:(1)英语专业与非英语专业研究生英语演讲焦虑的总体情况;(2)英语与非英语专业研究生英语演讲焦虑状况的比较;(3)英语与非英语专业研究生英语演讲焦虑的成因;(4)英语演讲者对英语演讲课程以及英语演讲培训的期待。研究表明:
　　(1)英语演讲焦虑普遍存在于英语专业和非英语专业研究生;演讲者的焦虑在演讲后达到最高值。(2)非英语专业研究生英语演讲焦虑总体上高于英语专业研究生，但两者在演讲前、演讲中和演讲后焦虑方面并不存在显著性差异。(3)英语水平、英语演讲技巧，自信是影响英语专业研究生和非英语专业研究生焦虑的主要原因。(4)高校开设英语演讲课程已经迫在眉睫，学生期待老师在演讲课上多传授些演讲技巧。
　　在以上研究结果的基础上，论文从演讲培训教师、大学生及教育行政部门三个方面出发，针对如何减少演讲者英语演讲焦虑提出了一些建议。
