《1800年以来的英国华人：经济、跨国主义及民族认同》（第四章）翻译报告

摘要

本文是基于《1800年以来的英国华人》（The Chinese in Britain,1800-Present:Economy，Transnationalism，Identity）第四章的翻译报告。翻译任务由笔者同另外四位同学合作完成。该书属于英国华裔史料，本报告节选部分讲述英国华人协会与机构。报告主要内容为对翻译过程的描述，采用的翻译理论及理论指导下的翻译策略和案例分析。
　　该翻译报告由五部分组成。第一部分为笔者对翻译任务的描述，对该书、该书作者、该书主要内容及其文本类型作了简要介绍。第二部分描述翻译过程，包括译前准备、翻译过程及译后事项。第三部分为理论介绍，包括卡特福德转换理论和目的论。第四部分为翻译理论下的实践分析，笔者运用卡特福德的转换理论和目的论分析翻译中的具体案例。第五部分总结了笔者在整个翻译过程受到的启发，收获的经验，遇到的难题，以及由于原著或参考资料不详等原因带来的仍待解决的问题。
