摘要

全球生态环境稳定和可持续需要每一个区域生态环境的稳定和可持续来维持，每个区域生态环境的健康是全球生态环境健康的有机组成部分和基础。其他区域的学术研究成果不能取代和满足别的区域的保护管理需要。中国海洋区域海龟种群的数量、动态、健康状况反映了该区域海洋生态的情况，这一区域相关的研究缺乏，给海龟的保护、管理以及海洋生态环境的整体保护、管理的评估留下很多未知领域。
