Alpha Trains: 77 loconnotives get ETCS Baseline 3 Release 2

Alpha Trains is retrofitting 77 locomotives with ETCS Baseline 3 Release 2: 55 Bombardier Traxx 186 with approval for Germany, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands as well as eight Vossloh G1206 and 14 Vossloh G2000 with approvals for Germany and the Netherlands.Nine Vossloh Gl000s for operation in Germany and Luxembourg have already been equipped with ETCS Baseline 3 Maintenance Release 1.Alpha Trains has contracted Alstom/Bombardier Transportation to carry out the upgrade for the Traxx locomotives, and Alstom Belgium will upgrade the 22 Vossloh locomotives to ETCS.The upgrade is part of the Dutch ERTMS programme and has been co-financed by the EU's Connecting Europe Facility (CEF).;
