论语篇的信息性与连贯性的认知调和

摘要

语篇的信息性和概念意义的连贯有关,连贯的概念意义又可以体现为不同的衔接形式;依此推断,不同的衔接形式同时也应该是体现不同信息特征的形式.一个合适的语篇至少要满足两个语篇标准:一、必须有得体的信息性;二、必须意义连贯.从语篇标准,即语篇的制约原则来看,一个语篇并不是随意的语言片断,而应该受到信息性的制约和意义连贯条件的制约.信息性制约原则要求语篇含有适度的新信息,而意义连贯原则则要求语篇不能含太多的新信息.该文试图论证,在信息性原则被违反情况下,连贯原则又是如何起作用的.文章首先对系统功能进行了概述,接着对信息性与话语结构的表现、话语理解中的连贯等几个方面进行论述,然后从认知角度论证语篇信息性和连贯性之间的对立统一关系,从而构拟连贯概念网络系统,探索连贯意义和信息特征的关系.
