《努力寻找更好的工作—中东和北非地区非正规就业带来的挑战》（第五章第一节）翻译报告

摘要

本文是一篇翻译项目报告,翻译项目的原文《努力寻找更好的工作——中东和北非地区非正规就业带来的挑战》(Striving for Better Jobs—The Challenge of Informality in the Middle East and North Africa)是关于中东和北非地区非正规就业情况的报告。在选择翻译文本时,笔者倾向于选择文本内容丰富且贴近实际事实的作品,希望以此提高翻译水平及英文写作阅读能力。翻译是传播优秀文化作品的重要渠道之一,笔者希望通过自身获取信息的渠道及对译出语的锤炼,翻译出具有一定价值的作品。全文均由世界银行出版社的核心专家组撰写,句式简洁,逻辑严密,并配有精确的图表数据分析。该报告部分旨在反应影响正规就业的制度障碍及低生产率障碍,并建议通过提高商业环境、调整劳动力市场规则及设定最低工资等办法来解决限制性的问题。该报告在功能对等理论的指导下,解决了一系列翻译难点,并通过相关的翻译方法加以解决,目的是为了使译文更加符合读者的口味。翻译报告分为四个部分,第一章阐述项目背景及报告结构;第二章介绍原文的背景,语言结构特点等;第三章介绍本报告使用的理论及理论对翻译的指导作用,并阐述了译者在翻译过程中使用的方法和遇到的难点;第四章总结经验,以供日后学习和实践参考。
