合作原则和礼貌原则的英汉文化对比研究

摘要

合作原则和礼貌原则是语用学用于解释言内之意与言外之意的两面条重要原则.但因文化价值取向不同,语用原则的取舍及其相互关系会有很大差异,有必要进行两种文化的对比研究,这不仅能扩大比较研究的领域,也能有助于得体的运用语言,提高跨文化交际能力.因此,该文分别对合作原则,礼貌原则进行了较为系统、全面的英汉文化比较,发现中国人较多地遵守礼貌原则,尤其是贬己尊人的谦虚准则,热情准则而违反合作原则.该文共分四章.第一章回顾了中国学者对两原则的对比研究,指出其研究的不足,并提出了该文研究的目的和意义.第二章对比研究了合作原则在英汉文化中的取舍及其产生的文化背境,其中重点探讨了中国人较多地不合作的文化底蕴,其中包括五个方面.第一,中国文化属高语境文化,许多语言信息附着在交际双方共知的知识领域或交际语境之中.许多语意只能意会,不能言传.第二,中国几千年
