An Efficient Graphic System for Developing Voice Operated Applications

A lot of people need some information just in the time when the information centers are closed. And almost of them has a telephone. It is very easy to dial a number and to get the information by telephone. Since the human operator answering the inquiry calls is usually very expensive modern information systems employ computer for searching the databases and answering the calls. In this paper we present the system LOTOS that allows to build voice-operated applications in a very efficient way. We also describe two types of applications that have been built by the LOTOS.
