摘要

Possibility of using A-mod of ultrasound signal for boundary detection of lumen and other boundary edges in images provided by the IVUS was envisaged, by its separating from original output signal from transducer, before processing and compensation for formation of 2D image in C-mod. Abstract geometrical model (phantom) of cross section of blood vessel with stenos on the wall was made, concept of electronic device for echo recognizing was showed and results was showed by using graphical possibilities of MATLAB software. Possibly long term goal would be to make algorithm for echo recognizing and drawing curved boundary edges and comparison results with other methods.
