Driving Characters and behaviors between theLeft-hand car drives and Right-hand accordingto providing guide information

摘要

The direction of the road is divided into two, the right side and the left side, by thehabit and specific native method in the world. This paper deals with thecharacteristics and behaviors of drivers' who are accustomed to right side driving,drive on the left side, and comparison with left side driver. The eye camera andquestionnaires were used to obtain driver's eye contact and subjective evaluationsuch as driving mental workload. Results indicate even if experts who have muchexperience on right side driving, they need some exercises on the left side driving.This data are to be applied to develop the driving support information with changedenvironment.
