Research purposes; The technical standard of the traction power system plays an important part in the high-speed railway technical criterion platform. The traction power system comprised of the high capacity power supply system and high tensile catenary system is necessary to study to meet the demands of highspeed railway operation with the characteristic of high speed, high density and high reliability. Considering the power supply, the power substation and the catenary subsystems, the research of key technologies was carried out, such as the main technical scheme, the design principle, the evaluation standards and the system integration. Research methods and conclusions; According to the experiences during the construction of BeijingTianjin HSR, Wuhan-Guangzhou HSR, Zhengzhou-Xi'an HSR and the design, system integration, static receiving inspection, dynamic receiving inspection, the debugging and testing work directed by the authors, the key technologies including the integration, interface, design and evaluation are studied and analyzed. Some suggestions about the main technical criterion, technical scheme and other key technologies of the power supply system are offered.
