摘要

This paper first presents the existing situation and possible future. developments of high-speed traffic using a circle line around Paris. The key point of there success is the good connection with local transport systems, airports and their location in metropolitan places. It is also the sufficient number of trains which enables a real hub effect. What has been witnessed in Paris could happen in other big metropolis developing high speed train services.
