摘要

The heterogeniety of source process is very important for estimation of strong motions near thesource regions or large earthquakes. In order to obtain the heterogeniety, a number of studies have beenmade on detailed source processes for the past few decades since Hartzell and Heaton(1983) and Olsonand Apsel(1982) developed source inversion methods. There are some difficuilties to deal with manyparameters and use least square method. In this study, we suggest to calculate characterized source modeldirectly with the most simplified model using genetic algolithms.
