摘要

The author's group has undertaken a study on the feasibility of the seismic base-isolation systemconstructed on a soft ground site. To verify the applicability of building structures with the seismicisolationsystem, we made an experimental model, which is composed of double steel pipe piles, a partialground improvement body and dampers. Based on the knowledge obtained from the excitation experimentof the model of the seismic base-isolation system, we contrived a mock-up experimental device. In thispaper, we first introduce the outline of the system and the excitation experiment, and then display itssimulation analysis. Furthermore, a comparison of the earthquake observation continuously executed andits simulation analysis is presented.
