Toxicological and biochemical synergistic-N-heterocyclene metal thiocyanate mixed ligand complexes

Several metal thiocyanate mixed ligand complexes of the types [M(NCS)_aL_bL′_c] ~* L_d, M′_e [M″ (NCS)_fL′_g] ~* L′_h, and M′_i[M″'(NCS)_kX_l] ~* L′_m are prepared and characterized by IR-, ESCA-, EPR-, UV/VIS-data, derivatographic behaviour, conductivity measurements and biochemical activities towards chlorella vulgaris, radish cotyledones and Candida albicans test systems (M = Zn, Cd, Cr, Co; a = 2, 3; L = acridine derivatives, triazines; L′ = dimethylformamide, methanol; b = 1, 2, 3; c = 0, 1, 2; d = 1 and 2; M′ = protonated acridines; e = 1 or 2; M″ = Cu, Co; f = 3 or 4; g = 0 or 1; h = 1 or/and 2; i = 2; h = 1 or/and 2; i =2; M″' = Co; k = 1 = m =2).
