BEST MAINTENANCE PRACTICES IN WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY MANAGEMENT

This information-packed seminar is oriented toward the manager of engineering,maintenance or operations, and maintenance group supervisors of municipal wastewatertreatment facilities. It provides a wealth of facts and statistics that define “BestMaintenance Practices” (BMP) in terms of wastewater facility systems and equipmentreliability. The seminar stresses the need for moving from a reactive maintenanceapproach to a proactive maintenance approach – an entirely different thought process – inorder to implement BMP ways of thinking. Managing facility systems and equipmentreliability in order to achieve environmental goals instead of managing chemistry tomake-up for unreliable systems and equipment is the goal.The seminar discusses how to organize, manage and train for an efficient and effectivemaintenance program that maximizes its contribution to reliability and reducesmaintenance costs below national averages.
