MEmail: a distributed multimedia electronic mail system

MEmail (Multimedia Electronic Mail System) is a distributednelectronic mail system which is designed to allow clients to share andnmanipulate multimedia messages from a Mail server and Media server. Thenuse of client-server paradigm enables the system to cater to differentnclient platforms, thereby allowing different workstations and PCs tonshare messages. MEmail extends the model of existing internet-orientednMail server architectures to support different types of multimedianformats by the introduction of a Media server
