摘要

In this paper, the non-ballasted track in the Pannerdensch Kanaal bored railway tunnel is outlined. The soils conditions at the location are described, emphasizing on the differences in soil stiffness between the gravelly sand and the clay strata. The computational model for calculation of the stresses in the slab is given. Then, an assessment is made of the possible settlements. Finally, using the computed settlements as an input, the feasibility of the system is proved.
