摘要

John Newman's pioneering analysis of the current and potential distributions on a disk electrode served as a foundation for recent analysis of local impedance measurements. The emergence of new and powerful simulation software has allowed a more detailed comparison between experimental results and theory for both global and local impedance measurements. This work has also led to refinement of concepts such as the local and global Ohmic impedance and new interpretations of constant-phase-element behavior.
