In 00, the Finnish utility Teollisuuden Voima Oyrn(TVO) signed a contract to build the first EPR inrnOlkiluoto, Finland. In 00, the French utility EDFrnselected an EPR to be built in France. In 00,rnFramatome ANP announced that they will be pursuing arndesign certification in the U.S.rnIn this paper, the EPR core characteristics are brieflyrnpresented, then the main objectives of the fuel assemblyrnin terms of performance and reliability are discussed, andrnthe main features of the fuel assemblies are presented.rnFinally, the in-reactor experience is presented.
