There are many kinds of osteoporosis drugs admitted in the world: estrogens, bisphosphonate, active vitamin D_3, anabolic steroids, vitamin K_2, calcitonin and ipriflavone in addition to calcium preparations. They are classified into 2 kinds: antiesorptive and bone forming agents. Calcitonin and ipriflavone belong to the former one.
