A total H hybrid finite element-boundary element method in 3D eddy current calculation is discussed. FEM is used in eddy current region and BEM in eddy free region. Magnetic field intensity H is the only physical quantity in both regions. Linear boundary edge element discretization of H on the interfaceo of the eddy current region and eddy free region is necessary to couple the BE region with FE regon effectively. The main properties of this method are that it can avoid the multiply connected region problems and avoid the resource to any vecotr or scalar potentials. SOme numerical results obtained by the proposed method are preseted ot verify its validation.
