The results of long standing researches of original model of information processing by memory are submitted. The formula for storage of information in memory well describes different adaptive processes with the various receptor systems: visual, oral, tactile, gustatory, olfactory, and so forth. It had analysed also other effects such as: dynamics of the magnitude of preadaptation on the shape of the adaptation curves; the effect of luminance of different colors on the adaptation; the effect of adaptation to light on subsequent darkness adaptation. The work shows the prospects of mathematical description of process of pattern recognition by man as information processing in human memory. Theoretical formulas predicts the adaptation processes for light and darkness adaptation; theoretical relations describe the influence of degree of brightness, the size of the test-object, the degree of contrast between the irritant and background. The theoretical differential threshold of perception was defined. Weber's ratio for the lower and upper absolute threshold of sensitivity was obtained. The pattern of man's reaction on gravitation is presented: brightness threshold; acceleration and deceleration; critical frequency of image flickering. The initial model of human adaptation to effect of emotional factor. All these theoretical results showed reasonable agreement with large numbers of experimental studies.
