An Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Automated Templates

摘要

Automated templates are an alternative to traditional supporting information for helping users perform complex tasks. In this study users performed tasks with and without the use of automated templates. Results suggest that it takes some time for users to learn to use automated templates, but once they do, the templates help users perform tasks more successfully and more quickly.
