摘要

Several computerized borehole database have been constructed and are available in urban regionrnof Japan. The Geo-database Information Committee of Kansai Area has developed a geotechnical database forrnthe Kansai area. The geo-database was developed with a focus on the urban area because of its social andrneconomic importance. This borehole data is dense distributed. Several geological investigated borehole data arernavailable in Kansai area. We are attempting to geological interpretation for these dense distributed geotechnicalrnborehole data. The classified facies using sequence stratigraphy will help to explain the difference in soilrnproperties in this area not only for understanding the sedimental environment, but also for zoning the area onrnthe basis of the geological study.
