摘要

It can be concluded that a less costly thin-film preparation method using a sol-gel process, eliminating the need for vacuum processes, is very promising for fabrication of ZnGa_2O_4:Mn phosphor TFEL devices. A high luminance was obtained in ZnGa_2O_4:Mn TFEL devices fabricated using a sol-gel technique with Zn(C_5H_7O_2)_2 and Ga(C_5H_7O_2)_3 as the Zn and Ga source materials, respectively. Maximum luminances of 373 and 42.7 cd/m~2 for green emission were obtained in a ZnGa_2O_4:Mn TFEL device driven by a sinusoidal wave voltage at 1 kHz and 60 Hz, respectively.
