The latest research proposed a novel computer input device to improve people with disabilities pointing efficiency. The proposed device adopted Screen-Partitioning method that users could use a commercial numerical keyboard as the input device of the device instead of special-design device to provide users with an inexpensive, flexible, and easily maintained computer pointing device, and adopted an Auxiliary-Window-Screen design that provided users with a visual operating environment. However, the effect of the latest research in moving mouse cursor is likely weak when a target is extremely small or the resolution of computer screen is too high. Thus, this study proposed an extended design according to previous device to help people with disabilities improve the pointing efficiency.
