Byron Parker is the Vice President of Engineering Services for Globecomm Systems Inc. and the President of ComSource, Inc., a wholly owned Globecomm Subsidiary. He has over 15 years of experience in the installation, operation, maintenance and analysis of communications networks. Prior to joining Globecomm, Mr. Parker was the founding General Manager of ComSource Inc. ComSource’s areas of expertise include cyber vulnerability assessment, laboratory testing, risk mitigation and software development for telecommunications, industrial control, and SCADA networks. At Globecomm he has overseen the standup of the cyber security and engineering professional service product lines. Mr. Parker has previously worked at BearingPoint and served for nine years in the United States Navy. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Ocean Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a Master Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland.
