摘要

This paper presents the results of the research focused on the software acceleration of the embedded Linux operating system activation process for the RENESAS SH-4 family processors. The acceleration from the 109s, when standard booting tools are used, to 5.5s, when the time optimized booting algorithm is used, is reported. The experiments were made on our proprietary hardware designed for the industrial applications in telecommunications and automated control.
