The increase of the turnover for an insurance company and, implicitly, the number of sold and cashed insurance policies can be obtained via two measures: increase the number of insurance inspectors and increase the number of contracts with intermediaries, such as insurance agents and insurance broker companies. The decision process presented in this paper, for choosing the optimal variant for increasing the turnover and ensuring the expected profit margins, involves calculating the total costs for each variant mentioned above and choosing the strategy with the lowest ones.
