Composite Toroidal Pressure Hull

摘要

The paper addresses the static stability of externally pressurised toroidal shells withrnclosed circular and non-circular cross-sections. Results of a numerical study intornbifurcation buckling of CFRP filament wound toroids are presented. The influencernof boundary conditions, variable wall thickness, laminations stacking and initialrngeometric imperfections on the load carrying capacity is provided.
