REVIEW OF A POLICY INSURANCE OF A DIRECTIVE SEVESO Ⅲ INDUSTRIAL ACTIVITY BY USING RISK ANALYSIS. AN EXAMPLE

摘要

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate that the risk analysis for industrial activities related to SEVESO III is a instrument for evaluation of damages generated by the same activity outside the fence. Specific policy insurances have been realized in order to cover possible damages to people or things generated by the industrial activity. The possibility to evaluate the damages can be quantified by referring to MPL (Maximum Possible Loss), i.e. the scenario with the highest damage distances. The present methodology allows to evaluate, by using specific criteria, people involved to direct and indirect exposition to accidental scenarios examined.
