Cavitation tests have shown that propeller induced cavitatingrnpressure is sensitive to the inflow in front of the propeller. It is wellknownrnthat this inflow is different from the nominal wake in bare hullrncondition. Due to the interactions among the nominal wake, propeller,rnand hull, the real flow to the propeller behaves differently and affectsrnthe propeller performance, blade cavity pattern, and fluctuating pressurerngenerated. In this study, comparisons between Euler and RANSrn(Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes) equation simulations arernperformed to find out their differences on the predictions of propellerrnblade cavitation and its induced hull pressure.
