To identify people lighting preference,rnpsychovisual tests are carried out in virtualrnenvironment. For lighting quality subjectivernassessment, Computer Generated Imagesrn(C.G.I) can be used to present differentrnlighting configurations. Various LightrnSimulation Programs (LSP) can bernemployed to create images. Thus, beforernperforming psychovisual tests, it is requiredrnto select the best LSP, perceptuallyrnspeaking, to present images the mostrnfaithful to the reality. To improve the rawrnimage obtained with the LSP, Post-rnProduction Operations (PPO) can bernemployed.rnIn this paper, we propose a method forrncalibrating a display device for subjectivernvisual comfort tests in order to comparernlighting installations. The method is aimed atrnselecting the most suitable Light SimulationrnProgram (LSP) and Post-ProductionrnOperations (PPO) by conducting twornpsychovisual experiments.
